New Vintage Monza Owner

Hi folks:
Been lurking here for a while, but finally broke down and bought my first Heuer - a vintage Monza. I believe this is a mid-70's model. Overall condition is very good - seems to run and keep decent time. The dial is fine, hands good, even the PVD case and band are in pretty fair shape.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that I can only turn the hands backwards to set the time. Can seem to change the date at all - it does change, however, at midnight. I believe the crown might be a replacement. Any thoughts?

Cheers!
John
