heuer autavia white dial

Dear Autavia experts, I need your help.

I am a serious Heuer collector from Holland with two Autavias ( 1964 and 1972) and a 1970 Monaco, blue dial.

I am offered a 1968 Autavia, hand-winded watch with white dial and blue hands.I've seen it, it's in Mint condition and I love to have it.

My question is what a fair price would be. I know it is quite rare model and am willing to pay a fair market price. This person however asks USD 1700,- and says the price for this one will soar shortly because TAG-Heuer just released a re-edition.

Can anyone tell me whether USD 1700 is fair.

Thanks in advance from thye Netherlands!!!!
