You nailed it! that's the low-battery indication! If you plan on wearing it swimming I'd send it to Pro-Time in the US (if you are in the US), or the TAG-Heuer Service facility in your country to have the battery replaced, if you don't plan on swimming with her, then any competent jeweler should be able to swap batteries for you.
