Re: Let's see your Heuers *PIC*
In Response To: Let's see your Heuers *PIC* ()

Here's my Golden Hours Moonphase. I bought it brand new from Watches of Switzerland in Birmingham, UK the mid 1980's, so was probably one of the last of the pre-TAG Heuers.

It's manual wind, gold-plated case, stainless steel back.

I'm trying to find out more about it - nobody I've shown it to so far has been able to tell me much...

PS Although it runs perfectly, I feel it's time for a clean & service. Does anyone have any recommendations for a UK-based watch maker who could do a good job, or should I send it back to Switzerland? (TAG Heuer in the UK insist that anything over 20 years old is sent back to Swiss HQ)

Thanks, Tim
