Hi, it looks real to me. 844 is the correct ref.number for an early Heuer diver. It was available in both quartz and automatic. The first year of production was made in France by Monnin. Later the become Sviss made and Heuer signed on the back and movement. The crown is not the original one. It should be possible to screw it in. The original crown is bigger, but not signed with the Heuer logo.
