Old Heuer wind-up Chronograph

I have an old Classic Chronograph Heuer, its a wind up watch with 3 dials, Gold coloured case with an old white face. It looks just like a Carrera but does not say this on the face. I had it serviced and was told it might be a Valjoux and that it was an excellent movement. Without a picture at the moment but does anyone know how I can get this verified please in England? Or what the visual difference between the two are?
cheers
