can you polish a Silverstone crystal.

i have some scratches on the crystal of my Silverstone, if it was a plastic one i could polish them away, but can this also been done by a glass / crystal of a Silverstone? The scratches can only been seen under a certain angle so it is not that i would replace the crystal by a new one.
any input is welcome,
