Hi Larry. Some time ago I had thesame question as you...and the one who helped me out was also David. Hi David, and thanks again!
This carrera was produced in 2004 and also (some pieces) in 2005 with a limited number of 1964. Refferring to the first Heuer Carrera by Ed.Heuer. I bought a new one myself last year as the design and colour-scheme of this model is really great and looks very vintage.
I know here in Belgium one or two watch-shops which still got this model in stock! Priced around 3500 US Dollar. Authorized Tag-Heuer dealers. As David stated before you must ensure yourself its not a fake one and has all the appropriate markings...there's one for sale on eBay. There are no pictures from the case-back though, I included the link...
