Re: Guy's Guy's Guy's! I'm not someone, I'm Chuck!

Sorry Heuer people , I never said it was a franken Heuer . $1300.00 is a record for any Hamilton unless it’s paved with diamonds or it’s the Elvis Priestly type electric Ventura ( just did an Ebay search ) . I admit my original post was based on circumstantial evidence. When I saw hidden bidders ( I did not know about the new rules on ebay ) and South American location I assumed the worst . The case is a Carrera and very different from the standard one used by Hamilton . The ref.# number “2447” is Heuer Carrera . I know it is only anecdotal evidence but I have never seen any Hamilton with this case , a sort of flat edged Bombay style , and I have never seen any Hamilton Chronograph go for a thousand but I could be wrong . I was wrong once before , ONCE before , but it turned out I was wrong about that LOL .
Rolex val.72s go for Big Dollars and a few others go big including the original Carrera but most Seventy Twos go for under a Thousand .
I guess the only thing I can say for sure is “That’s a Nice Watch”! And “Thank you for not making fun of my Franken spelling” .
