i think the manual wind movement 7734 was cheaper than the cal 11/12 in the automatic 1153. I am not quite sure if they both were available at the same time. The watches are both almost identical, the only thing is the place of the crown and movement, the left subdial is on the 1153 a 12 hour counter, on the 7734 movement it is second hand.
