they began life as Super Autavias (or more likely less expensive pocket chronographs), and after being recased (in Prague) and having the dials refinished (in Germany), were sold at the watch fairs, imported through Los Angeles dealers, and sold on ebay as "Targa Florio" or "Fangio" chronographs.

at least the Super Autavia strapped to the wrist is the genuine item.

tonight, I will dig through the boxes to try to find the Super Autavia / Master Time / Monte Carlo leather necklace strap!!
