I have decided that the grooves on these style of bracelet do make for that a comfortable fit if you have small bony wrists. Sorry for being negative about this, but the grooves that run along the clasps are less pronounced than later styles as far as I can tell. More flat than the concave/convex of the 80's style for example I think. Apologies....
