Many thanks!!!!!!

Wow, first of all thank you all for your contributions, you seem like you really know your stuff, esp Chuck thanks for your answer.
It seems indeed to be an interesting topic.
Letīs try to put your thoughts together
1. you can wear a vintage as a daily watch, but you have to find a good mechanic. It is likely that the Heuer vintage keeps its value or become more.
2. The movement of the re -issue seems better, and can be fixed more easily due to the spare- speedy / Lem. parts, This is indeed a concern for me: what is the use and value of a cal 72 vintage that cant be fixed?
3. the overall opinion is that the re -issue is a good watch en by no means a fake (or a fake feal to it) TAG did a good job here

Pragmatically one could say: if the re-issue is a keeper (is it??) then it will become a vintage if you just wait long enough...but this a more a filosoficall item.

I have one question, should the Carrera be on a perforated strap, for a more racy / sweaty feeling? what do you think/
