I have aquired from my step-father, a vintage Heuer 510.511 PVD Carrera watch (which he purchased in the early 80's).
The watch has recently been sent to Switzerland to Tag for full restoration and service, and has just been returned.
Unfortunately, the PVD coating on the case is not great and other than cleaning it, Tag say there is nothing they can do about the case as they have no remaining stock.
Does anyone know of either a company that could re-coat the case or a supplier of aftermarket cases?????
I really would like to restore the watch to its original condition as it will make an excellent heirloom for my son.
Can anyone help??????????
