Us Safari 3 guinea pigs have done it to ourselves! *LINK*

Jeff or Chuck do you know what all this is about?

------WebKitFormBoundaryECgInUJRuJN+8r+O

It appears automatically to posts.

I do! I DO!!! Us eager beaver Us Safari 3 guinea pigs have done brought all this down upon ourselves...

On 11 June 2007 Apple made available Safari Beta 3... You David, myself, and a select few other users have downloaded this beta program and started using it.

There appears to be an issue/error/bug/glitch/etc. with the Safari 3 Beta which causes it to append the "------WebKitFormBoundaryECgInUJRuJN+8r+O" [or similar] gobledegook to the end of most, if not all, fields in the post [response] submit form.

Cease using Safari 3 Beta, resume using Safari 2.0.4 [or some other browser] and the wonky text isn't appended.

I'll take the time and effort to remove all instances of "WebKit" save for this thread from the posted messages. However, from here on out, if you post in Safari 3 Beta and the bug hasn't been patch and the wonky text is displayed, it's going to stay.

Why?

I'm only going to be in the band following the horses once... After that, I'm going to insist on marching ahead of the equines...

Get it? =)

I'll try to be the guinea pig on new versions of the Safari 3 Beta and will let everyone know when it appears that Apple has patched the flaw.

Fair enough?
