great news!! [or maybe I should say that it is great news for the six or eight people in the world who care about this stuff!!]

we have just received an e-mail message from the proud owner of 49176 . . . early version with the all-luminous hands, and it's only 39 numbers away from mine!!

we hope to have a photo soon!!
