Fake Heuer laugh of the week... *LINK*

on eBay. Another fake from one of those "greasy" countries in S. America. Fake triple signed and all. I am really starting to fell bad for anyone who buys a watch from there. A real one is rare indeed and if they worked on it, it WELL be screwed up! I have been working on a 60s Grand Seiko for several months (mostly to locate parts) that some poor guy bought from S. America for $460. Perfect condition the ad said. I tried to get hem to send it back and warned him of the costs to fix but he didn't want to hear it. It only ran face up for starters! The repair bill is approaching $400 and its not done yet! He is in what I like to call "watch repair purgatory" right now and not very happy.
If there are any do-gooders out there that don't like my comments about S. America and think I need some political correcting - eat it. They will rip you off any why they can. Craig
