Interesting Message / Not Sure You Help Yourself

your message is interesting, in terms of its horological information and recommendations.

I don't consider myself to be a "do-gooder" or a guardian of political correctness, but I wonder whether you help or hurt your "message" with its tone -- specifically, the attack on South American countries, as such, and the challenge to readers who may disagree with your tone.

In my view, you do better to stick to the facts. But you may choose to set another tone, within the bounds of internet etiquette / community standards. I expect that you will get a better conversation going, if you set a better tone for the discussion.

: on eBay. Another fake from one of those
: "greasy" countries in S. America.
: Fake triple signed and all. I am really
: starting to fell bad for anyone who buys a
: watch from there. A real one is rare indeed
: and if they worked on it, it WELL be screwed
: up! I have been working on a 60s Grand Seiko
: for several months (mostly to locate parts)
: that some poor guy bought from S. America
: for $460. Perfect condition the ad said. I
: tried to get hem to send it back and warned
: him of the costs to fix but he didn't want
: to hear it. It only ran face up for
: starters! The repair bill is approaching
: $400 and its not done yet! He is in what I
: like to call "watch repair
: purgatory" right now and not very
: happy.
: If there are any do-gooders out there that
: don't like my comments about S. America and
: think I need some political correcting - eat
: it. They will rip you off any why they can.
: Craig
