the match between the luminous on the hands and the luminous dots on the dial is one of my favorite elements of this one . . . all the luminous has a unique blue tone, as shown in the earliest catalog images of the Monaco.

In the worlds of vintage Rolexes and Omegas, there is currently a premium for so-called "tropicals" . . . so when does a faded watch become a "tropical" watch?
