Another One Coming Soon . . . from 1969
In Response To: Great! ()

I have a 1969 Chronosport catalog, to be scanned sometime soon . . . no beautiful women or automatic chronographs, but it includes a couple of Rolexes in the mix (Submariner and GMT). Yes, the Rolexes are shown, alongside the Nivadas and the Chronosports. This catalog also shown a couple of Heuers that do not seem to appear in the Heuer catalogs.

I think these catalogs convey a good sense of what the racers and pilots were actually buying. The only major brand that was missing is Omega . . . I imagine that they did not sell through these catalog channels, but only through bricks and mortar retailers / authorized dealers.
