Help - Carrera Re-edition problem! Posted By: Steve Leung Date: 10/15/07 20:07GMT

Hi All,

I have a Heuer Carrera re-edition Lemania chronograph. It has been running well but I dropped the watch today and I've got a problem with the chronograph functions. The watch keeps time well, starts the chronograph timing but when you want to stop the chronograph, it resets the hands to 12 o'clock as if I've pressed the resetbutton.

Sounds like something is out of adjustment/alignment in the movement. Not that I am a Chronograph mechanic.

;B>Has anyone had any experience of this kind ofdamage to this watch?

I haven't had any issues like this with any of my Lemania c.1873 based models, but I have seen similar issues with other folks watches.

And if so, do you think it's a major problem torepair?

Probably not, but some repair venue's will try to insist on doing a full service on the watch. You might want to shop around for a watchmaker who will either simply fix the problem or will do a full service for a reasonable price.

Thanks for any thoughts on this,

Steve

Hope this is of some assistance!
