In Response To: Thanks for your suggestions ()

: Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts Chuck
: and Allen. One other question.

: If the watch is due a service AND also this
: repair, should I send it into TAG for their
: expensive service and repair or do you think
: a reputable watchmaker repair should be
: reasonable enough (and cheaper!).

: I've had the watch from new for 3 years now and
: I don't want to take any chances with it.

: Thanks

: Steve

The Lemania 1873 is a widely known movement... Most competent watchmakers shouldn't have any difficulties doing a routine cleaning, lubrication and adjustment.
