Why do I feel a THEME Scan Day coming on?

Oh, No . . . Another UGLY Monaco Coming My Way ! !

At some point in the not-too-distant future, I need to stop buying the "stories" / the research projects / the basket cases / the UGLY ones, and get back to the beautiful, pristine, no-questions-asked chronographs. But today, I just couldn't resist this one. I know -- wrong hands / wrong needles / wrong pushers / wrong crown / nasty marks on dial / discolored markers, BUT -- in defense of my dwindling claim to sanity -- I will point out that it appears to be an original dial in an original Black PVD Monaco case.Jeff

Why do I feel a THEME SCAN DAY Coming on... In the spirt of Jeff's "UGLY ones" and in homage to Apple's nearly 10 year old Commercial "Here's to the Crazy Ones":
I propose we do a Theme Scan Day Real Soon here on our "Crazy" purchases which we know or at least suspect [strongly] are not original or in some way suspect, but that we make regardless, because we think we can reform them, or perhaps some rebel streak in us just likes them because they are so goofy! What do you think?

[I had forgotten how powerful of a commercial that one was/is... It still hits as hard or harder than it did when new.]
