Our Next Scan Day (Nov 9th) -- Think Different

following up on Chuck's suggestion, next weekend (starting November 9th), we will have a "thematic" scan day. The theme will be based on Apple's advertising slogan, "Think Different".

The "Think Different" campaign was based on the 20th century people who thought differently, and acted differently, and ended up changing the world -- Einstein, Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghandi, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Maria Callas, etc.

So let's think differently about our watches:

  • which were the watches that changed the world?

  • which seemed ugly or unpopular, or unconventional, but had a profound impact on future watches?

  • which seemed crazy or ugly, but proved its beauty over the years?

  • making it more personal, which one of your watch purchases seemed most "different" and ended up changing your collection -- your first Japanese watch? your first quartz watch? your first non-chrono, three-hand watch?

So let's spend a few days Thinking Different, then we'll post some photos, and see how the world might change!

Jeff
