Heuer History -- Part One (PDF)

Been so busy with the Paintless Wonder, Black Beuaty and the Fried Egg, not to mention a couple of Scan Days, that I just reaized that I hadn't posted a link to this article -- "Collector's History of Heuer -- Part One" -- which appeared in the November 2007 issue of International Watch. This article provides a very brief history of the Heuer chronographs, covering the years 1935 through 1969.

Parts Two, Three and Four are well underway, so by the time this is over, we should have a nice concise history of the brand, from the collector's perspective.

Thanks to Ralf for several of the photos, and to all the folks who contributed to the Price Guide (which is included as part of this article).

By the way, International Watch has been adding lots of vintage content (articles and photos), so you really might enjoy the magazine!
