Re: TAG-Heuer 2000: old vs. new (scan)

Thanks for that comparison - if I knew how to paste in some scans I could contribute my early 1980s versions as well...

Excuse my ignorance- can anyone give me a tip about how to paste in scans like Walter just did?

Thanks -
Bill

:this is an follow-on to the discussion about
: when the 2000 model first appeared and it's
: subsequent changes in design. here is an
: image showing 2 from different periods,
: making for easy visual comparison to see the
: changes between 1994 and 2002. feel free to
: see for yourselves, but here's
: the key changes as i see them:
:

: 2002

: 1994
: dial

: white with luminous baton markers and numbers
: @ 12. logo is set into a recessed area.
: minute chapter is raised.

: white with luminous baton markers with
: geometric shapes @ 6/9/12.
: bezel

: faceted circumference. nubs are also faceted.

: smothly arcing circumference. nubs are simple
: blocks.
: case

: thicker sides & lugs (front to back) and
: flat caseback. overall volume is noticeably
: greater. overall thickness may actually be a
: tiny bit greater.

: sides & lugs are thinner (front to back)
: with a more domed caseback. overall
: thickness is about the same.
