Re: Vintage watch stores - Pawn Shops in London??

Hello Abel,

I should be able to help as I live in London and am always on the look-out myself.

It really depends if you are looking for a quality vintage watch in really nice condition from a reputable source, serviced and with guarantee at around market price (or above market price in some cases!!!!) or hoping for a great flea market find.

If you are looking for the former I can give you some names and addresses but if it is the latter that interests you although I can give you some pointers it is very pot luck and I have never found a treasure in ten years of looking!

The flea market sellers are all "streetwise" and "ebaywise" these days and if they are are offering something at a reasonable price they are probably trying to offload a lot of future trouble for the buyer. I can speak from experience on this one.

Let me know and I will email some names and addresses.

Regards, Jack
