Kudos to Jeff and Welcome to Mr. Babin.

Once again Jeff, congrats on the development and continuing evolution of this wonderful community. I say community because it is so much more than a website/forum/message board. You, Chuck and many others have aspired and conspired to make this place a trully unique corner of the internet. As they say in the South..."Keep on keeping on!"

Mr. Babin...I would like to chime in with my thanks for both your efforts at the helm and consideration in stopping in to say "Hi." You, most of all, must appreciate the value of time...thanks for sharing some of yours with us. That having been said...here's my list of demands. To me, the heart of a Heuer is not just the Cal 11 family, but the micro-rotor itself. I have a rather simplistic view that everything else is just gears and bridges. The micro rotor is (in my view) soley responsible for the automatic chronos that we wear today and I think it is time for a comeback. For me, the ultimate Tag/Heuer would be a new version of the Autavia with a display back that would reveal a new caliber, with a re-engineered chrono plate that would reveal a highly finished/decorated micro-rotor. It would be absolutely superlative and I would probably order a custom strap that would allow me to wear the watch upside down and stare at the movement.

Once again, welcome and thanks for entertaining my 2 cents.

Regards to all,

John
