Nice Carrera Jonathan! Looks very genuine, and I think if this watch could talk it would tell you a lot :-) seems the previous owner wasn't affraid to use it!
I would suggest not to change the hands, some reluming (maybe also the hour markers on the dial) and replacing or polishing the plexi crystal may improve the face of the watch with great result!
