SCAN DAY / December 15 / A Watch and a Story

Our next scan day will be Monday, December 15th, and the theme will be "A Watch and A Story". This is your chance to show us a watch that comes with a memorable story. Maybe you can tell us about

  • one that you chased around the globe and finally bought
  • the one that you received on a special occasion or from a special person
  • the one that has ghosts and goblins, or has a mind of its own, or has lived nine lives
  • one that came after an epic struggle on ebay, or one that came cheap
  • a thrift store or garage sale find
  • a timepiece that has some history on its own -- McQueeen wore it; Hans restored it; etc.

The possibilities are endless, and the story can be lenghty or just a few phrases. If english is not your best language, write something in your own language, and the rest of us will do the best we can with the translations.

So that's the theme for December . . . be creative . . . be colorful . . . share your favorite story that comes with a special watch.
