I considered buying a similar manual Carrera. But it does seem that Cal 11/12s are more common.
It's a pretty and clean watch, but I don't recall ever seeing a second generation Carrera go for more than $2K, except perhaps on dealer sites where I don't take the prices that seriously.
Most of those watches were on straps though.
