Hello everybody,

while still mulling over the 'Heuer-Leonidas' signed Pasadena, I have noticed that some Valjoux7750-based Montreals of the same family display the name *below* the "AUTOMATIC", some others above. Others yet don't seem to have the "Montreal" name anywhere at all on the dial, even on Heuer official catalogues, but that's another story: I guess these are what we have learnt to call "non-Montreals" like the non-Pasadenas etc.

While I have come to learn from other OtDashers' postings that there are indeed day-date and day-only Montreals, I have not seen this "oscillating" name issue addressed anywhere yet. Any cues on this? Is this a sign of earlier / later production?
