There's some great news relating to the very first Heuer Collectors Summit, to be held May 18 through May 20, 2008, in Neuchatel and La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. We have received 12 registrations for the event, so it is a "go" . . . the Summit will happen; it is confirmed for all those who have registered.
The absolute final deadline for registrations will be this coming Friday, April 11, by noon (EDT). So if you would like to attend, you will need to submit your registration by the 11th.
All the highights and other information are described in the Webpage for the Summit. Highlights of the Summit will include visits to the new TAG-Heuer 360 Museum and archives, meetings with Jack Heuer and Jean-Christophe Babin, and opportunities for the collectors to meet one another and socialize.
Special thanks to Ron Henselmans for his hard work in planning this event, and to Fabienne Chalchat (of TAG-Heuer) for making all the detailed arrangements.
Everyone should feel free to post questions or comments about the Summit, on this Forum, or you can send me an e-mail message!! Maybe those who have registered would like to say "Hello", to begin to get the conversations going!!
On a personal note, it is doubtful that I will be able to attend the Summit, and -- if this turns out to be the case -- I want to convey my regrets to the group. My work schedule has been difficult lately, and it may be impossible for me to take these days away from the office. I am still working on some scheduling, and hoping to attend the Summit, but I wanted to let people know about my own situation.
Thanks,
Jeff
