Carrera -- Belgian Air Force / Congo *LINK*


Over the years, we have seen several Carrera-style chronographs, said to have been issued to the Belgian Air Force, stationed in the Belgian Congo (during the 1960's).

I received a photo from a reader last week (shown on the left), and also found the one listed For Sale on a dealer site, www.carsandwatches.com (shown on the right).

I thought that it would be interesting to post these photos, and see whether any of our readers might be able to provide additional information? Or maybe there are additional samples, that we can add to OnTheDash?
