The right band for a Siffert? A Carrera?

The Hirsch Pro band on my Speedy Pro broke, after only a year.
(I've got belts that are 20 years old and shoes that are 10)

Anyways, that's the perfect band for my Speedy.
But what's the perfect band for a Siffert?

I want something that's got that classic perforated Heuer racing band look but a little more substantial given the bulk of the watch.

On that note, I've got a poor man's carrera that also needs a strap (18 mm?) It's on a Di Modell Rallye now, but that one's a little too stiff for a small watch.

Any suggestions? I'll probably go with black, but I could be persuaded by just the right brown or blue.

Thanks in advance, and pics would be nice.

best
Allen
