Spontaneous Scan: Storage Systems

Over the years, I have used a variety of storage systems for the watches -- antique organizers, wooden boxes, store display trays, etc. Most of these "systems" have been a bit of a mess. Shown here is the antique box organizer.

Well, I have a new storage system and I thought that I would show it off (below). These are three-drawer plastic storage boxes, available at places like the Container Store for around $15 per set. The arrangement shown below is two of the three-drawer units, on a bookshelf.

From top to bottom, we see:

  • Heuer 5100's / black death watches
  • oldies
  • mid-60's
  • colorful
  • 5100 / 7750 tools
  • Seikos

Each drawer had enough room for the three up front, and a couple more in the back of each drawer.

So who else has a good storage system to share?

Jeff
