Silver caliber 12 movements...
In Response To: calibre 11 / 7740 *LINK* ()

Another question or remark...well as most of us know (or think we know) a caliber 11 is always finished with a silver colour (rhodium??) and a caliber 12 is always finished with a yellow-gold colour.

Just have a look at these three pics of two different movements...one is an Autavia 11630MH and the other is obviously a Monaco (1133g). Both movements are signed with caliber 12 and do have the correct frequency. So the option that this is a caliber 11 movement with only the bridge exchanged is not an option. It' a caliber 12 movement!! But with silver-coloured finishing??

Anyone else who has seen this?
