Any 510.503's Avalible?

Hi everyone, As Chuck already know's, I am hunting for my favourite Heuer, a 510.503 (Silver Dial, Blasted Case/Strap). I know it's a VERY long shot, but is anyone looking to reduce their collection by one of these?

Sorry Graham, I'm not looking to part with either my Very Good Condition example nor my quasi-polished/beater example... At one time, I did have a third example, but it disappeared about the time I left a job back in 2000 and I haven't seen her since, but if she turns up, I'll let you know.

Anything considered, cash waiting. Also, does anyone know anything about the "Audi Sport" Heuer, with the 1340 movement? -Is the 1340 as good as the 5100? (Accepted that the dial has less information).

Well, I saw one offered for sale on eBay about two or three years ago, but I bowed out of the bidding because it got to high and I had other watches I was pursuing at the time.

I couldn't figure out if it was the two register version of the Lemania 5100 (ie the 5012) or a Lemania 134x movement in her. The Lemania 134x is the same thing as the Omega c.1040 movement used in the Omega Speedmaster Mark III, Mark IV, 125 and a number of Seamaster models. So if you're familiar with that movement (Oh! It's also used in the Tissot Navigator's from the early 1970's as well) then you are familar with it's quality compared to the 5100.

But that is the only previous sighting I recall of it.

Many thanks.

No problem, I wish I had more/better to report.

"OnTheDash" -OnTheTop of the stack, for Heuer Info!! Big Thanks to all!!

Always good to hear, not that we would mind a little competition! =)
