Re: So What Does This Tell us About the Market?

Imo many buy Heuers for "collectability". This is a risky approach sorta like the stock market. My approach is buy what YOU realy like, IF you can. Do not buy what is considered valuable or desirable ( or "great deal") by "experts" or "the market". I see more and more people approaching watches like the stock market...

:
: so does this sale represent confirmation / stability of current
: market prices; some softening (based on price in Euro); or some
: other message or signal?

: Lately, I am seeing dealers listing the vintage Heuers with big
: prices (in Euro or USD), substantially above what we saw just a
: few months ago, but I am not sure that I am seeing this same
: strength in watching the actual ebay sales. How do others assess
: the current market for the vintage Heuers / other vintage
: watches? stronger / weaker / about the same?
