Valjoux 7736 -- Not So Hard (expensive) to Find
In Response To: VALJOUX 7736 ()

The Valjoux 7736 seems to have been used in a broad variety of off-brand and low-end chronographs. It's difficult to say what is expensive and what isn't, but I would guess that you can find a chrono with good, solid Valjoux 7736 for less than $200. In a really ugly, no-name watch, you might find it closer to $100.

These are general impressions, as I have never really searched for these movements, as such.

Good luck finding one.

: Hi all, hope everyone is fine, does anyone know
: how hard it is to come by a VALJOUX 7736
: movement, really what i am trying to say is
: it going to be expensive????, can it be
: replaced with a newer movement that would
: fit the case????. I am not too concerned
: about specifically having a VALJOUX 7736
: movement just looking to fit a replacement.
: Hope anyone can help me out on this one,
: regards, James.
