Well I think it is a great watch!

I have a number of Heuer LCD watches (working and not) and have on a number of occassions tried to get some interest and discussion going on this site. It seems that you are correct in your comment that people are deeply unimpressed.

The best way to preserve the watch is just to let it run and change batteries as soon as they die and whatever you do remove dead batteries before they leak and do not be tempted to fiddle with the module.

If more owners had done this there would not be so many non working ones around now.
