I don't think the "custom made" wording is a disclaimer equating to "basically fake" at all. It seems to me an attempt to mislead bidders into thinking that it was produced under license by D&S at Heuer's behest, or a custom one-off of some sort where variances from regular models should somehow be more acceptable.

The transparently nonsensical "basically fake" excuse is hogwash, designed just to get us to leave them alone so bids will be maximized.
