Re: Movement fake?
In Response To: Re: Movement fake? ()

: Jarno,
: your watch looks good, all original even the caliber 92 mark on the
: inner back case.
: Only the very first Carreras( see page 118/119 in Heuer
: Chronographs) in early 1964 were signed ED.HEUER&CO.SA, after
: the merger with Leonidas later in 64 the new signature was HEUER
: LEONIDAS SA.
: After the merger for a short period of time some watches were
: hybrids using the older signature on inner back caseback or
: movement bridge ( see Autavia page 32/33 )
: Yours seems to be a 1965 watch still having the unsigned crown and
: the first generation dial.
: Whats the serial number between the lugs ?
: Congrats to a good buy !
: Cheers

Hi Arno,

Thanks! I sent you an email, didn't notice your answer here on the board.
Will check for the serial number once I receive the watch.
The crown is the only thing I think is not original, I find it to look a bit bulkier than the unsigned crowns the Carrera's normally have.
What do you think?

Regards,

J@rno
