Re: Break-through moment in a relationship !

Darren,

My wife has taken an interest in my watch hobby which I guess is good and healthy for the marriage but it does mean its no longer MY hobby and I have to share it! Anyway I recently bought her first "Vintage Watch" which she chose herself aftr looking through Vintage Rolex Sports Watch book and Arno`s Heuer book and out of all the watches she chose a............brown "starburst" dial Silverstone: I like Silverstone`s anyway but that particular watch looks fantastic on a Lady`s wrist particularly with the original strap. Good luck !!

Cheers,

Andrew.

I had a wondrful break-through moment on saturday evening. I was
: dressing to go to an early Christmas party and had just made the
: decision of which watch to wear when my girlfriend came in and
: suggested i take off the Montreal and put the 1163 Autavia GMT
: on the grounds that the colours went better with the shirt i had
: on. Now she didn't use the model names and she probably doesn't
: know a Carrera from a Carolla but the fact that she participated
: in my interest and helped me find the right watch for an
: occasion is a land mark moment. I felt very proud of her. Which
: leads me to my question to you all - Can anyone suggest a 70's
: automatic Heuer for a lady ? It is Christmas coming up and maybe
: i could find something that would appeal to her.

: - Darren
