Does It Say "Montreal" on the Dial??
In Response To: Montreal face in Autavia case ()

If it says "Montreal" on the dial, then it does not belong in an Autavia case. There were no shared cases between these two models, and I don't think that Heuer ever produced a chrono that consisted of a "Montreal" dial in an Autavia case.

With a picture, we could be more definitive.

Thanks for the inquiry.

: Hello out there!

: Can anyboby help, I recentley bought a
: pre-owner Heuer "Montreal" watch,
: however I can't find any reference to this
: particular model on any of the web sites I
: have visited. I am assured that this is a
: "nearly original" watch, but it is
: basically an Autavia in all respects appart
: from the face / dial colouring which is from
: a "Montreal". I have been informed
: that Heuer did produce a number of Montreals
: in Autavia cases? in the early 70's, does
: this seem right?
: The dealer will take the watch back for a
: limited period, any advice on this would be
: appreciated.

: Mark
