Wrong? Not much..
In Response To: How wrong is this...? ()

I think you are wrong. I can only find two incorrect items on this watch. The tachymeterscale clearly is wrong, not from a Heuer. It should have been a second scale only. The other fault is the hand on the 30min register.

This is a Carrera 30 ref.7753 S. The case is correct in stainless steel. It has longer lugs than a Carrera 45. The caseback is the correct screw in, with correct Heuer - Leonidas marking. The movement is the correct Valjoux 7730 signed Heuer - Leonidas. The hour/minutes hands is also correct for the Carrera 30. There is pictures of this in the Ebay listing.

Here's pictures of two other Carrera 30. They have the same hands and case.

Carrera 30 7753 D

Carrera 7753 T

The same Carrera 30 S in a 1970 Heuer catalogue.

If you swap the tachymeter for a plain second scale, and the 30min register hand, you have a nice Carrera 30 7753 S. A rarer Carrera than the Carrera 45.

I think this could be a bargain Carrera that with a little tlc would be very nice.

To bad my Paypal account is empty at the moment :-(
