Yep, as a watch, it may not be up to current collectors' / enthusiasts' standards. But I imagine that it has some sentimental value to Obama.

And it is a good looking watch . . . at least from a distance. It is amazing that, before it was identified, many experts on watch discussion forums thought that it was a Hublot, AP, Carrera or something far more expensive than it actually turned out to be.

It's a fun watch to wear, as I am sure that there are many other fun watches in the $200 to $300 price range.
