I have compared the current one listed on ebay with photos of 10 of these, that I keep on my computer . . . the one being offered appears to be a different watch than any that we have seen. As you know, most of these old watches have distinctive "finger-prints", and this one has the damage to the markers (especially at 2 and 4).

also, I am aware of recent transaction for very fine sample at $10K. so the market for this particular watch may have held up better than the price of oil or the Dow Jones Industrial Index.
