Another Awful Development for Sellers

thanks for this information, Craig. I have not done any ebay listings lately (or read their rules in detail); of course, it will be simple for them to search listings for the references to "bank wires" or simply the word "wire" or "transfer" and the word "bank", and delete these listings.

an interesting puzzle for the economics majors: if we will not be able to sell safely on ebay, will we continue to buy (and add to our collections)? there needs to be another safe outlet for sales.

: Jeff - I used to ask for bank wire transfers for any sales outside
: the US on ebay. The new ebay seller rules went into effect on
: 1/19 and on 1/20, they removed all of may auctions without
: warning because I mentioned wire transfers. They are serious
: about PayPal only and they will do it if they can get away with
: it! Craig
