In Response To: Different hands on 1133B - ()

Early Monaco, gen 2 if gen one is chronomatic, kind of metalic finish to the dial, square hands are matching.
For reference same model is pictured in my book on page 200.
Possibly it sat in the store for a while and got the later strap, customer could choose between leather and steel.

: The ebay link i include in this note has a Monaco 1133B with
: different hands. I know that some of the earlier
: "Transitional" Monaco's had the more simple hands but
: i'm not sure about this one. The hole on the hour & minute
: hands where lume once proudly lived, seems to be a bit wider in
: the OTD reference photo's. One other point strikes me as
: strange, if it is indeed one of the earlier Transitional
: Monaco's why is it wearing a bracelet i normally associate with
: the later Monaco's (aka Silverstone style ) instead of the
: narrower 5 brick style bracelet.

: Either way, i think a good purchase. Clearly in need of a little
: TLC but an easy fix for a nice watch with a genuine long time
: owner history.
: Congratulations if it was any one from the forum that won this.
